PAE’s president and past president will speak at Pfizer’s third European Patient Advocacy Summit on Involving Patients in the early stages of Health Technology Assessment (HTA).

The summit will be organised in three sessions on Webex, taking place on 6, 13 and 20 October from 14.30 to 17.00 CET.

This Summit aims to empower your voice as a patient organisation in your national and pan-EU HTA processes, by helping you to strengthen the advocacy skills needed to participate.

Practical workshop sessions will recap the importance of patient participation, provide an overview of the significance of the upcoming EU-wide HTA legislation, explain where early dialogues and assessments fit into the overall HTA process and approaches to achieving effective patient input and practical examples of best practice.

Due to uncertainties surrounding coronavirus travel restrictions in the coming months, sessions will be held via Webex to ensure participation. The draft agenda can be found here.

You can confirm your attendance at the HTA Patient Advocacy Summit by registering via this link by September 24.
