Brain, Mind, and Pain Grant

The time has come to select the winners for the Brain, Mind, and Pain Grant, a Patient-Centred Innovation Grant initiated by Pain Alliance Europe and supported by Grünenthal Group with the main aim of encouraging patient-centred innovation having, as a result, the improvement of the living conditions of pain patients.

The whole team contributing to the organisation of this project is as excited as the candidates might be by now for this final step. This first enriching experience has created new connections and has brought to light interesting initiatives that Pain Alliance Europe will do its best to promote and support.

The BMP Grant Jury, exclusively formed by patients and patient organisation representatives, Mrs. Joke Jaarsma – EFNA, Mrs. Camille Bullot – EPF, Mr Joop van Griensven – PAE and Mr Mariano Votta – ACN, with the exceptional participation of MEP Danuta Jazłowiecka, to whom we take the opportunity to address a big thank you for all contribution and the organisational support – had the difficult task of choosing among interesting and well-formulated projects.

The winners will be announced during a Lunch Ceremony organised at Hotel Leopold the 20th June, 2018, where candidates, guests, sponsors and specialists from the health sector are invited to network, get to know all the projects and celebrate the winners. This would be the first step to the creation of an environment where patient centricity is the basis for future initiatives.

This event is coordinated with the meeting of the MEP Interest Group on Brain, Mind, and Pain taking place earlier the same day in the European Parliament.

We are looking forward to welcoming all candidates!
