Chronic pain management is a major and growing challenge for patients, healthcare professionals and the global healthcare system. Millions of people suffer from chronic pain. The chronic pain tends to linger, with cure almost difficult to achieve. Since chronic pain is difficult to cure, the treatment options are aimed at maintaining a decent quality of life or improving that. This is the real goal of chronic pain treament. And that’s why No Pain Foundation wishes to give a tools for learning and studying to those physicians who are faced with a patient with chronic pain. That is why education, research and care.
The two founders have joined forces to create a non-profit foundation known as ‘No Pain Foundation’ for the purpose of carrying out social, educational as well as research and development activities, among others, in the field of pain management and pain therapies.
No Pain Foundation has the purpose of carrying out social, educational as well as research and development activities in the field of pain management and pain therapies through Education, Research and Cure. NPF to provide for care to patients suffering from chronic pain by establishing health centres from which medical practitioners can offer their services free of charge.
NPF to sponsor, promote and sustain studies, research, development and debates in the area of pain management and pain therapies. To provide awards, scholarships or funding for university projects promoting new or existing pain management.
NPF to educate and train medical practitioners in relation to pain management therapies by organising courses for proffessional education, organization of seminars, lectures, and meetings in relation to the different classes/ levels of pain and the related treatments.
