This year’s PAE General Assembly took place on 26 September 2023 and introduced changes in the PAE leadership. Pain Alliance Europe held farewells for two outgoing Board Members: Marian Nicholson and Sonia Cottom. Marian carried out her Board duties for three consecutive terms and totaled an impressive nine-year period on the Pain Alliance Europe Board. PAE thank Marian for her irreplaceable service and the development of PAE surveys. Sonia joined the Board in 2021 and stepped down this year due to other commitments. PAE thank both Marian and Sonia for their contribution to PAE and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
The General Assembly approved two new Board Members following their nominations in the summer. PAE is happy to announce that the PAE Board is joined by Iben Rohde (FAKS, Denmark) and Cathy Van Riel (LRG, Spain). PAE congratulate Cathy and Iben and look forward to working together.
