Pain Alliance Europe

Chronic pain effects an estimated 100 million people across Europe according to the “Survey of chronic pain in Europe: prevalence, impact on daily life, and treatment” by Breivik H, Collett B, Ventafridda V, Cohen R, Gallacher D and published in the European Journal of Pain 2006;10(4):287-333 (11).

Chronic pain has a devastating impact on those who are suffering. Not only do they have a medical condition to contend with but the social and economic impact on the sufferers and on society is enormous.
